September 2024 Educational Visit

Educational Visit

Come and learn about Fauna's residents and visit the sanctuary. The 1.5 hour Fauna Visit begins with a bilingual presentation about Fauna Foundation and our residents. It will include the natural history of some of our residents and sanctuary etiquette. We will walk around the property, which is outside so we should be prepared for all types of weather.

The walk includes places around the chimpanzee house but not inside the building. The chimpanzees are free to come to outside enclosures to visit the guests, but it is their choice so visitors should understand this presentation is focused on learning about, rather than seeing, our residents. This is a sanctuary so the residents' needs are a priority and we hope that all the visitors share this philosophy.

The walk includes places around the Chimp House but not inside. The chimpanzees are free to come to outside enclosures to visit guests passing by, but it is ultimately their choice.
