The chimpanzees have unique personalities and life histories. Although they may have a dark side to their natures, they are often caring and compassionate, and the stories highlight this capacity for love. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tano & Binti: Two Chimpanzees Return to the Wild by Andy and Linda DaVolls Based on a true story, Tano & Binti are ready to be reintroduced to their natural habitat in the forests of Africa. Being on their own can be scary at first. However, with the help of an older chimp, Amber, the young brother and sister learn how to find good food and water, to travel the forest by swinging gracefully and energetically from tree to tree and how to build leafy treetop nests to snuggle down in at night.
